The northeastern state of New Hampshire is in the New England region of the United States of America.  New Hampshire is bordered by the state of Maine to the east, Massachusetts to the south, Vermont to the west, and the country of Canada to the north.  The Atlantic Ocean at sea level is the lowest point in elevation for the state of New Hampshire, and Mt. Washington at 6,288 ft. is the highest point in elevation.
